“Grace makes you more like Him…. Any time you release faith in the truth, grace comes to make that truth your reality. That doesn’t happen because you bit your lip to believe better, but because you have simple child-like faith in God’s word, and grace comes to make it your reality.”
With such words, Dan Mohler emphasizes that it is by grace through our faith in Christ that we are transformed into His image; our transformation is NOT a result of our works, our trying to become something God has already made and continues to make us in Christ.
