Victory is Assured When You Put Your Trust in My Son

Here is a prophetic word the Lord gave me a while back that I am to share with you, my fellow believers on fire for Jesus Christ. Get comfortable, and behold:

“Victory is assured when you put your trust in My Son. Go up at once and possess it – you are well able to overcome in Christ. Such glory to behold as you bear fruit in faith, moving in accordance with My Spirit, utterly and joyously reliant upon the living waters flowing forth as you rest in Christ Jesus, the Sustainer of your soul.

“Go forth, My child, and claim your inheritance: live the glorious riches I have for you in the second man. Filled to overflowing, the wealth of nations are at your feet. Overshadowed by the Most High, indeed!

“Build up the highway – go before and show My Way!”

Praise the Holy Spirit for such words of encouragement!

Now, do you see how critical it is that we know Christ intimately and our true identity in Him?!

Dear brothers and sisters under the Lordship of Christ, KNOW that we partake of the divine nature. We have dominion! We rule and reign because God accomplishes His purposes through us, the blessed members of Christ’s Body!

So many Christians are writing about becoming “Christ-like”! Understand that I’m grinning now as I beseech you: wake up! Come on! Do you see what’s wrong with that?

Receive the revelation that God has already accomlished that: we are OF Christ already! It is finished! We are OF heaven already!

We need to KNOW the truth in order to be set free! I no longer live, it is Christ who lives in me (Gal. 2:20). How about you? Hour by hour I put off the old and put on the new (Col. 3:9-10). How about you?

Thinking that we need to become Christ-like is a red flag that we are being deceived, and are missing grace. Frankly, it is self-righteousness, the old sinful nature from the Garden of Eden deceived into trying to be LIKE God when we already are OF Him!

Praise God, the glorious truth is we are created in His image, and IN Christ we have been restored to that – we partake of the divine nature ALREADY!

As Dan Mohler would ask with a huge grin, do you get it?! If so, press the “like” button or post a comment rejoicing with me in the astounding LOVE our Heavenly Father has for us kids! Hallelujah!

…you have taken off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. – Colossians 3:9-10

So very much love in Christ, your sister deanna

  1. Right on Deanna! It dawned on me today, after listening to Frances Chan, that the reason the church is struggling with works and unable to walk in the Spirit is because We have trust issues. We can believe God loves the world be we’re not so sure He’s all that in to us personally. Don’t we “let Him down “, “disappoint”, “embarrass” him all the time? Love? Maybe. But like? Not so sure. And if I can’t be sure He even likes me than I will be on my guard for disappointments and gifts that I will wish I could return. We need to not be told we’re doing it wrong or even thinking wrong because we already think we can’t do anything right. In order to let our guard down we need to be convinced God not only likes us, He is THRILLED with us. He thinks we are precious, adorable, cute, funny, and amazing and He can’t wait to show us how awesome HE is!!!

    1. Amen Jan! Thank you so much for sharing this! Praise God for growing us so rapidly in this glorious truth now!

Dan Mohler said it similar to what you just did. I include his quote here since we need to have this VITAL TRUTH reiterated:

“You ask, ‘How can God love me?’ The reason you ask that question is because you place your value based on how you perform/live instead of your potential, what He created you for. Jesus shed His blood to redeem what was lost, not just because we are sinners. He had to die because we sinned in order to redeem our value. The cross doesn’t expose our sin, it removes our sin.”
