Happy Friday, Church! Look at what the Lord has put on my heart for us to do! Talk about getting the weekend off to a great start – this will be a supernatural rocket boost!
The first words of Jesus in the Gospel of Mark are “The time has come. The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!” (1:15). Of course, repenting is turning to the right mindset – God’s! Let the beloved bride of Christ arise from her slumber and do so now!
Please read this prayer over first. If you are in agreement, pray it with me and press the like button to signify your “amen” here before all these earthly and heavenly witnesses. Then we rejoice together, knowing the cleansing and blessings that God will bring: Jesus Himself will save and bless others through us, the holy Body of Christ, as never before!
Father, Your love and mercy astound us! Thank you, from the very depths of our hearts, for saving us and sanctifying us by grace through faith in Your Son! By your grace, we recognize and confess (it’s a good thing!) our weakness and utter inability to do any good whatsoever without Jesus. By your grace, we recognize and confess our proclivity to depend on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Wisdom Himself (Colossians 2:8). It is with joy that we confess our absolute continual dependence upon Christ, just as He, the only sinless Man, did nothing of His own, but depended continuously on You, His Father. We hereby consecrate our bodies, minds, wills, and emotions to Christ, our Lord, for His keeping. And we rejoice, for through Christ Jesus, the law of the Spirit of life has set us free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2)! Now we rest from our own “works” and rejoice together in our Creator, Savior, and Sanctifier. To you be all the glory, Lord! We pray this in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Thank God for putting us all together as the magnificent Body of Christ! It is a corporate cleansing that follows such corporate changing of mindset and purpose. Oh, the blessings are going to be beyond all that we can fathom…
Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them. – Matt. 18:19-20
After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. – Acts 4:31
Attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ with you, your sister deanna
