Happy weekend, members of the Body of Christ! I wanted to share a revelation briefly. You may already have received this one, but it is brand new to me – it is glorious and such a blessing!! Here it is:
God created EVERYTHING we need BEFORE He created us. (Genesis 1)
He is our Jehovah Jireh: the Lord IS our Provision (Genesis 22:14). Tie this in with Matthew 6:24-34, that God provides EVERYTHING we need, and we miss His bountiful GRACE when we try to provide for ourselves. No one can serve two masters… You cannot serve both God and money. Therefore, I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear…. the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore, do not worry…
May God cause us to know this, that we may rejoice as we relinquish the lie that we have to fend for ourselves. May He enable us to receive His grace more readily, so that Christ may manifest Himself more fully through us to those for whom our hearts ache with His love. Amen.
