The Lord Is With Us

Perfect love casteth out fear – 1 John 4:18

Love and fear cannot dwell together. By their very natures they cannot exist side by side. Evil is powerful and fear is one of evil’s most potent forces.

Therefore, a weak and vacillating love can soon be routed by fear, whereas a perfect Love, a trusting Love, is immediately the Conqueror, and fear, vanquished, flees in confusion.

But I am Love because God is Love, and I and the Father are One. So the only way to obtain this perfect Love that dispels fear is to have Me more and more in your lives. You can only banish fear by My presence and My Name.

Fear of the future – Jesus will be with us.

Fear of poverty – Jesus will provide. (And so to all the temptations of fear.)

You must not allow fear to enter. Talk to Me. Think…

  1. When fear over takes me, it is important to re-focus on the moment and not let the fear grow irrationally. Focusing on God’s love in the moment can calm our fear …my challenge and struggle is remaining in those moments as long as possible. Thank you for your ministry!

  2. Timely post Deanna. I was operating in a level of fear since the Lord has called me to Host my Church’s Women’s Internet monthly talk show. Couldn’t understand it since writing has been my strong point and maybe too much of a comfort zone. I’m on a panel with Pastors and could not understand how I would fit in or if I even had a voice. I had to seek him to shut down the fear and understand that he appointed and anointed me for such a time as this. He’s no respecter of persons and titles don’t phase him. Now after taping my 3rd show I know that I can do all things through Him. It’s such an honor. Fear has to go and will not grip me in this way again.😇

    1. Praise God, Chanel! So happy for and with you! 😊 Our competence is not of ourselves, but of God, who has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant. If you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (See 2 Cor. 5-6; Gal. 5:18, 1) Thank You, Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit!! THIS IS LIFE!!
